The laboratory began in 1946 in Via Cagliari, founded by Commendator Musso, as a production laboratory for chocolate and candies. In 1964 Giuseppe Gobino, thanks to his experiences since 1950 in the cocoa refining sector, entered the company as the director of production, becoming the sole owner in 1980. This is how a intense process of specialization in the chocolate sector began, focusing the product research on typical products from Turin including Giandujotto, Gianduja spread and Chocolate with Hazelnuts.
The family tradition continues with Guido Gobino, who joined the company in 1985. Although he has restructured the production process, he continues to respect the antique recipes from Turin.
So was born the artisanal Laboratory of Giandujotto, destined to later create the Classic Giandujotto, according to the characteristic artisanal system of extrusion, the Tourinot Giandujotto, the Amarissimi, and the other chocolate-based specialties, fruit of fantasy and the continuous research of high-quality raw materials. The toasting of the IGP Piedmont Hazelnuts, carried out at our laboratory, recent investments made for quality control and the continuous study of the technologies for production that respect tradition, guarantee products of the highest quality and new flavour and sensory experiences.
Tasting our products, one is certain that the Turin chocolate tradition and the distinctive artisan skill still continue today.
