In our territory:
Historically, it has grown for many years in this area, but the systematic planting and cultivation of hazelnut groves has only been in practice since the 1930’s in response to the demand by the confectionary industry. Previously, hazelnuts had been grown together with other crops and the harvest was primarily destined for home consumption or local confectionary production.
